What we collect

Account details (name, email), profile information you choose to add, documents you upload, applications, messages and technical logs (IP address, browser) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To operate the platform: show your application and documents to the researchers and companies you apply to, send notifications you opted into, prevent abuse and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

Who can see your data

Your profile visibility is under your control in settings. Documents attached to an application are visible only to the researcher/company who published that opportunity (and to moderators when a report is filed). Messages are visible only to conversation participants.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account from settings at any time. We anonymise your account record and permanently delete your profile, documents and personal data. Aggregated statistics may be kept.

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data by contacting privacy@thesisabroad.example.
